These Creamy Mushroom Puff Pastries make a delicious appetizer or snack. The buttery puff pastry is stuffed with a rich and creamy mushroom mixture that makes them irresistible.

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  • Melt the butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook until the mushrooms are browned and tender, about 8-10 minutes.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until the cheese melts and the mixture is creamy.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into 4 squares.
  • Distribute the mushroom mixture evenly among the squares, putting one in the center of each.
  • Brush the squares' edges with the beaten egg, then fold over the corners to form a triangle shape.
  • To seal, use a fork to press the edges together.
  • Place the triangles of pastry on a baking sheet and brush with the remaining egg.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden and puffy.
