Sweet Chocolate and Raspberry Tart Recipe

This Sweet Chocolate and Raspberry Tart is a rich chocolate crusted dessert with a layer of sweet raspberry jam and fresh raspberries, all topped with a creamy chocolate ganache. It is ideal for any special occasion or dinner party.

  • Prep Time: 20 minutes
  • Cook Time: 15 minutes
  • Total Time: 35 minutes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  • Pulse flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt in a food processor until well combined.
  • Pulse in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse sand.
  • Add the egg yolk and pulse until the dough forms a ball.
  • In a 9-inch tart pan with a removable bottom, press the dough evenly into the bottom and up the sides.
  • With a fork, prick the bottom of the crust all over.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  • Allow to completely cool on a wire rack.
  • In a small saucepan, melt raspberry jam over medium heat.
  • Spread the melted jam evenly over the bottom of the cooled crust.
  • On top of the jam, arrange fresh raspberries.
  • Melt chocolate and heavy cream together in a heatproof bowl set over a pot of simmering water, stirring constantly until smooth.
  • Spread the chocolate mixture evenly over the raspberries.
  • Refrigerate for 1 hour, or until the chocolate is set.
  • Chill before serving.
