Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Pulse hazelnuts, flour, butter, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt in a food processor until the mixture resembles coarse sand.
  • Pulse in the egg yolk and cold water until the dough comes together.
  • Divide the dough into 6 equal parts and press into the tartlet molds, ensuring an even thickness across the bottom and sides.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the crusts are golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and set aside to cool.
  • Pour chocolate hazelnut spread into each tartlet and top with chopped hazelnuts.
  • Allow at least 30 minutes before serving to chill.
