Raspberry Chocolate Tart with Powdered Sugar Recipe

With this simple tart, you can enjoy the rich combination of chocolate and raspberries. The buttery crust is filled with a decadent chocolate filling and topped with tart fresh raspberries. Finish with a dusting of powdered sugar for extra sweetness.

Ingredients

  • Prep Time: 20 minutes
  • Cook Time: 30 minutes
  • Total Time: 50 minutes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  • (190 degrees C).
  • In a food processor, combine the flour, butter, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and salt; pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Add the water and pulse until the dough forms a ball.
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough and press it into a 9-inch tart pan.
  • Prick the crust all over with a fork.
  • Bake for 10 minutes in a preheated oven.
  • Allow to cool after removing from the oven.
  • In a saucepan over low heat, combine chocolate chips and heavy cream; cook and stir until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.
  • Pour the mixture into the cooled crust.
  • Put raspberries on top of the chocolate mixture.
  • Bake for 20 minutes in a preheated oven.
  • Allow the tart to cool completely before dusting with powdered sugar.
