  • Preheat the oven to 375°F.

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, 1/4 cup sugar, and salt.
  • Incorporate the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • 1 tablespoon at a time, add ice water until the mixture forms a ball.

  • Combine the fruit, 1/4 cup sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract in a medium mixing bowl.
  • Fill tart shell with mixture.
  • 35 to 40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
  • Allow to cool completely before serving.
