Raspberry Blackberry Tart Recipe

This tart with raspberries and blackberries is the ideal summer dessert. The buttery crust is topped with fresh blackberries and a layer of sweet raspberry jam. For an extra special treat, top it with whipped cream.

  • Prep Time: 20 minutes
  • Cook Time: 40 minutes
  • Total Time: 1 hour

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Pulse the flour, butter, granulated sugar, and salt in a food processor until it resembles coarse sand.
  • Add the beaten egg and pulse until the dough forms a ball.
  • In a 9-inch tart pan with a removable bottom, press the dough into the bottom and up the sides.
  • Cover the bottom of the crust with the raspberry jam.
  • Place the blackberries on top of the jam and serve.
  • 35-40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the berries are soft and bubbling.
  • Allow to cool completely before dusting with icing sugar and serving.
