Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  • To prevent browning, toss the thinly sliced apples in a bowl with lemon juice.
  • Warm the apricot jam and water in a small saucepan over medium heat until it forms a smooth glaze.
  • Puff pastry should be rolled out and cut into 6 equal strips.
  • On each strip, apply a thin layer of apricot glaze.
  • Arrange the apple slices on each strip, curved side up, slightly overlapping the slices.
  • Fold the puff pastry bottom half over the apple slices.
  • Roll the pastry tightly from one end to form a rose-shaped tart.
  • Bake the tarts for 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown, in a muffin tin.
