Chocolate Peanut Tart Recipe

  • Total Time: 45 minutes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Pulse peanuts, flour, sugar, and salt in a food processor until finely ground.
  • Pulse in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Pulse in the egg yolk until the dough comes together.
  • Fill a 9-inch tart pan with removable bottom with dough.
  • Cook for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is lightly golden brown.
  • Warm cream in a small saucepan until just simmering.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in the chocolate chips and butter until smooth.
  • Mix in the corn syrup.
  • Pour the cooled chocolate mixture into the crust.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until completely set.
