Chocolate and Cream Tarts Recipe

  • Prep Time: 30 minutes
  • Cook Time: 15 minutes
  • Total Time: 45 minutes

Instructions

  • In a food processor, combine the flour, sugar, and salt.
  • Pulse in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Pulse in the heavy cream until the dough comes together.
  • Divide the dough into 6 equal parts and press each into a tart pan.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until lightly golden, at 375°F.
  • In a heatproof bowl, combine the chopped chocolate.
  • Pour 1/2 cup hot cream over the chocolate and heat until steaming.
  • Stir the mixture until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
  • Refrigerate the chocolate mixture in the chilled tart shells for at least 1 hour, or until set.
